the track Mr. Morale is good but man I feel like it could have been a classic. fire beat from pharrell. great flow from kendrick. great lyrics. the outro is great too. what prevents it from being a true classic for me is the Sam Dew and Tanna Leone parts in the middle which are pretty weak IMO. I also wish Kendrick would have done a third verse but I could live without it if the bridge part in the middle lived up to the rest of the song.
I feel like that part elevated the song honestly, especially with how deep the first verse goes compared to the second. But I feel like it ended abruptly and it couldāve been fleshed out, 3:31 is a crime for how good the track is
When you realize that We Cry Together is actually about Hip Hop and that's why she says "I rather f*** with your cousin" and the last song is him running away from the culture because it's toxic
The album hits different when you listen to it knowing he's mostly talking about Hip Hop and him choosing himself and his family over it
The song after We Cry Together
"Two-steppin' away from rappers, I don't trust their true intentions
I'm not in the music business, I been in the human business"

Whole album is a double entendre with talking about his girl as in Whitney and his girl as in the rap game/fan
Itās a classic album the more I listen
Tyler lame for even hating it in the first place
Esp since CMIYGL aint it

The first few songs where he talks about cheating on Whitney he's talking about when he just got famous and what he was doing on Tour and s***
It's basically about his relationship with Hip Hop and what it did to him and the album ends with him breaking away from the culture and freeing himself, he also talks a lot about rappers on this album and rappers covering themselves with bullshit for example on N95
This album is crazy the more I listen to it, so many layers lmao
Kendrick vocals dont cut through the mix enough in some songs
You listening on Dolby atmos?

Snippets, Vent V2 with the longer Kendrick verse that ended up in N95 and Prayer (not on the album but still fire)
Does anybody feel like TDE has been super quiet and arenāt promoting this s*** at all? S*** and what is the point of even being signed to Aftermath still? Is PG Lang even going to be under Interscope? Could be a lot of behind the scenes tension going on

I think this is one of the better ratings Iāve seen. Iāll ask you what I ask most raters: where do you have Black Panther sound track?

Pg lang is a company independent private company. It's not under any major labels. They used Columbia to distribute keems album. Don't know if they'll do the same for future Kendrick releases. Not even sure if he's on aftermath still

I just was on Tannaās wiki page and it says heās also under Def Jam. Kinda spooky. I read about Dave leaving TDE and how the old blogosphere approach used to break the TDE guys wonāt work anymore and he wants to focus on streaming
