End of disc 1 pretty meh
Idk how I feel about waiting 4 years for Black Panther 2
You saying this album is black panther 2?
Concluded that Damn. is a masterpiece and superior to this, but most will never see it that way because of how much Humble dilutes it.
Wrong conclusion
I caught a couple of bodies myself, slid my community
My last Christmas toy drive in Compton handed out eulogies
Not because the rags in the park had red gradient
But because the high blood pressure flooded the caterin'
So what's the difference 'tween your life when hiding motives?
More fatalities and reality bring you closure
The noble person that goes to work and pray like they 'posed to?
Slaughter people too, your murder's just a bit slower
god damn one of his best verses ever
Songs that I canât f***ing get enough of:
United In Grief
Worldwide Steppers
Die Hard

Songs that are great but that I only find myself wanting to hear in album context:
N95
Rich Interlude
We Cry Together
Purple Hearts
Crown
Savior Interlude
Savior
Auntie Diaries
Mother I Sober
Skips:
Westside Gunn - We Sell Together
I feel this album is like his Endless and his next will be his blonde now that heâs off TDE
I feel this album is like his Endless and his next will be his blonde now that heâs off TDE
It lowkey feels like Endless and Blonde mixed together at times imo
Canât take anyone who ranks Section80 lower than Mr Morale serious they just doing that cuz itâs one of his early albums
Excuse me if I sound like a dusty old head but does it matter whether or not (for sales purposes) I purchase this off of iTunes? I never understood how streams counted towards album sales.
After having had a few days to digest this album, I think what I like most about it is that it's the most introspective and honest Kendrick's been on a project. Sonically, he has albums I enjoy more, personally, but the overall "heart & soul" you feel on this album puts it near the top of his discography for me. It may not have been the album people wanted, but it's the one we needed.

I get what youâre saying. This album not for easy listening. This album is in the vein of TPAB, where you have amazing songs like u and Mortal Man, but you wouldnât really listen to them outside of the album.

1500 streams with paid streaming = 1 album sale
3500 streams with non paid streaming = 1 album sale
1 physical copy = 1 album sale (physicals count the week itâs shipped not purchased if done online) physicals done in person count right away.
I digital copy = 1 album sale

Ngl Iâve thought about this too but idk.
He & Dave different, theyâre about to drop music on the most mysterious s*** ever
Cutting We Cry Together and Purple Hearts might make the album a lot better
Purple Hearts wouldnât be that bad if itâs wasnât for that Ghostface verse. I love him but he sounds so out of place on that track.
I would love to see Kendrick and Alchemist just do a fun album for in the future like Alfredo. Kendrick sounds great over those types of beats.
Damn no disrespect to Kendrick but that merch really is trash. Hope they step it up for the tour.
