auntie diaries is amazing but itās one of those imma only listen to if Iām listening to the whole album, same with we cry together
yeah same although would visit we cry together more likely than auntie
his girl
thatās her name
his baby mama? but didn't he say she ain't here no more or something
if they saw him perform gkmc live, i get it.
s*** was savage
Idk man I seen him during the Yeezus tour & it wasnāt that memorable tbh
but then again he was opening up for Ye so yeah thatās hard to match especially when youāre on the come up
which Disc is Mr. Morale And Which disc is The Big Steppers ?
Mr morale is the one with mr morale on it.
his baby mama? but didn't he say she ain't here no more or something
Yeah
thatās why some of us was thinking maybe they split but also they were just in Ghana together so idk
which Disc is Mr. Morale And Which disc is The Big Steppers ?
It's a metaphor for his 1st two albums. GKMC & DAMN
Every 30 minutes a new part of the album gets stuck in my head
Currently jamming out to the pre-chorus of Mr Morale in there
S*** on my mind and itās heavy.
his baby mama? but didn't he say she ain't here no more or something
When he wrote it she left probably. People in long term relationships will always try to find a way to get back together again
Idk man I seen him during the Yeezus tour & it wasnāt that memorable tbh

Dissect coming thru with an amazing discussion on the album
damn fr?? i didn't even like kendrick back them but was still like "wtf that was amazin"
Understandable for sure
Idk I was a Kendrick fan during that time for sure but i just remember it being a bit underwhelming although it was by no means horrible
But Yeās set after was so insane that had to skew my judgement. The man had a mountain come from the stage arena, split in half while Jesus walked out
like cmon lol

A brief history of sme girl
Tbh I wish the beat switch in Worldwide Steppers lasted way longer
I think we get his Black Album next. Just banger after hit after banger
100%
he has mastered rapping at this point, just need a whole album like black album or kings disease at some point
Yea. Album will go down as his best album.
This s*** is incredible.
Itās kinda below TPAB for me, like that album was just so consistent and dope front to back. This one has some tracks that Iām not too big on and I wish the rapping was kinda better as I noticed barely any rhyme schemes (It was mostly spoken word)
Other than that I still like this album and I prefer it over DAMN at least
its dumb af to expect someone to not grow and evolve especially with art. and someone who treats their art like kendrick does and always has. GKMC is great but it also has a couple meh sounds on it and imo has been washed by every one of his albums since. Hes only gotten better at writing / flowing / vocal inflection / creativity / direction etc
Completely agree
