I pee different
Positive posting and positivity as a whole kind of overrated
No its not this is one of the worst post i ever read
White ppl been doing that for years. Once you hit a certain level of popularity itās not a skill set anymore.
Itās actually harder to do what Kanye did. Make hits that are actual quality song that are still digestible.
Everyday I respect Ye's run more and more
What about Cole's discog makes you think he could make something like them then
I can see him making a couple songs like Purple Hearts or Auntie Diaries but not the others
This album reminds me of KOD in its structure and aesthetic and The Off Season in its features
You know him so well
I donāt know him personally, but I do know who he is as an artist because Iāve been following his career and listening to his music for 12 years now. Speaking about how fatherhood has changed him as a man is exactly the type of thing I, and many other listeners, would expect from Drake
I appreciate the concern but you guys must let my nuts breathe
Thats what wrong with niggas now, i ask if u good and im on your d***
but if i said f*** you b**** ass nigga thatd be cool huh?

"Once you hit a certain level of popularity itās not a skill set anymore"
This is where i disagree. Its hard to stay relevant. Are you pretty much saying once you reach a certain level anything you drop will be liked/well received? I dont agree.
The worst part is that we know he can do it. He just doesnāt
and it wouldn't really be a risk with how much he sells

Well in my case it's a lot of forced hate
I'm just a human posting

Rap is like a mountain
Everyday I respect Ye's run more and more
Old Ye never compromised on his singles. And they were just as big as other ppls songs.
His radio records never sounded like he escaped his comfort zone or quality zone.
Thts way different than grabbing a hook from Adam Levine and It being a hit because of that.

You mean just because TOS had 21 and Lil Baby and this has Kodak? Lol
Couldāve yeah but not that he has made it or those songs. I mean Lost Ones isnāt a far cry from We Cry Together really
Lost Ones is an excellent song but definitely in a different world energy wise. I think there are lots of songs on the album that are unique to Kendrick on here
We're really having a Quadra intervention in the Kendrick album thread
I wouldn't call it that because none of you can intervene in my life
You mean just because TOS had 21 and Lil Baby and this has Kodak? Lol
Thatās just one indicator for me but itās the first time Cole beat Kendrick to a punch
I wouldn't call it that because none of you can intervene in my life
that's because you won't let us in
for people who spent so much time outside they sure have the time to hate
curious
for me it was an instaclassic but I can see people feeling a way about an album getting 10/10 with ya baybee on it
To me⦠yeah it may end up being a classic in time. But there are faults, I really donāt like die hard, havenāt since day 1. Purple Hearts is another one thatās kinda meh and one or two other moments. To be for a 10/10 youāve gotta f*** with every track and I donāt. But itās a very interesting piece of work and may end up being looked back on as a classic, but itās an 8/10 for me. Step up from Damn but not as good as TPAB
This album reminds me of KOD in its structure and aesthetic and The Off Season in its features
Kod was influenced by damn so really kendrick was influenced by himself
Lost Ones is an excellent song but definitely in a different world energy wise. I think there are lots of songs on the album that are unique to Kendrick on here
Sure thereās unique stuff to Kendrick, I donāt mean this is literally a j Cole album but artistically this felt like the closest heās been to Cole, this reminded me of Coleās recent projects in a good way
