I fully believe in forgiveness too, but I think there should also be a line. I know a lot of people, myself included, who think that rape is the worst crime a person can commit, because the victim has to live with that pain for the rest of their lives.
People make mistakes, yes, but rape/sexual assault is the one mistake that I think is universally agreed upon that should never happen, in any circumstance.
Iām not saying Kodak should be ostracized from society, but I completely understand why many people believe that artists should no longer give men/women like that a platform
The Bible says no sin is greater than another
Sin is sin
No matter how ābadā we perceive it to be from our human perspective there is always redemption
People believe different things tho and thatās fine
If a certain company or artist or fan chooses not to fw Kodak because of it thatās completely understandable
But if someone like Kendrick chooses to stand by him thatās his choice too
Listening to a Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead right now driving around and I definitely hear bits and pieces of that album in this one.
this is so true i felt the influence on the first song especially
For anyone who wants to hear Prayer
https://soundcloud.com/user-507823929/kendrick-lamar-prayer-official-leakWow wtf I thought I heard this but I definitely didnāt. Amazing.
Very curious why this didnāt make it or what the album this belongs to would have sounded like
Do a couple of two line intros, a spoken word interlude, and a feature verse?
DaBabyās beats be repetitive but heās a solid rapper, he definitely couldāve filled Kodakās role on this album
Idk maybe Iām captured in the moment but I canāt imagine 1. Kendrick seeing enough in him artistically to invite him to a studio session 2. DaBaby being talented enough to have a spoken word interlude flow like it did over chaotic piano keys, no offense to him, and 3. DaBaby himself even wanting to work with him lmao
We rep the same state so if anyone would be defending him itās me but I canāt see it

It couldāve definitely been on the album. I donāt know why it wasnāt included. It was a great track.
A lotta people think Kodakās annoying
Not Kendrick thank god
I like how even some of the more upbeat tracks on here like Savior and Mr Morale sound weird as hell.

Back in 2017 if you told people that in 5 years Kodak Black would be a big part of the next Kendrick album, people would find it unimaginable as well
This might be the only plausible breakdown of this album's meaning I've seen online
He also broke down the heart and the album cover mentioning things I've not seen anyone bring up yet
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nAs3Gu98td8The fact he's able to do s*** like this and disguise it with enjoyable music is f***ing crazy

True
idk s*** about kodak but this project has me interested in his own work
Top 3 new era
Top 3 new era
alsoā freshest rapper name in a long time imo.
Kodak Black just sounds cool
what's his best project?
Dying to Live is great project as a whole I think Calling My Spirit is one of the best songs ever
With yak, I also find those random songs that just hit so hard
Really feel like the entire last song he is talking about his fans
Itās a response to Noname and her Twitter s*** indirectly mentioning Kendrick and Cole.

Love Kendricks weird ass voices and add libs too
Push these b****es off me like HUUH
