Count Me Out sounds really familiar with the singing...anyone got any ideas of what songs sound like it?

Reminds me of a Ye song. Especially those adlibs during the first hook

I really take Kendrick’s stance on cancel culture being he’s disappointed in artist for being afraid of it and biting their tongue rather than like being mad at random fans and twitter people which that perspective doesnt make me cringe

It’s not my favorite but it’s duking it out with GKMC for the #2 spot. GKMC got a special place in my heart but this album is incredible.

And you’re right about the empathetic take. Feeling something like Mother I Sober is different from just hearing it.

DAMN is a great album and better for casually listening but this album as a body of work blows it out of the water. Some of his best s*** is on here.

    Mr Sting

I miss when conspiracies weren’t attached to every bar he raps

Seems like this dude could straight up say exactly what he’s feeling, no metaphors and everyone immediately says ā€œno there’s gotta be more to this, what does it really meanā€ smh

Kendrick fans becoming what people clown Cole fans for being

Or maybe you enjoy hearing your favourite artist be vulnerable and open up about his personal struggles.

That whole intro of Count me out might be my favorite moment in the album

the lyrics reminds me of Feel but more raw & personal

ā€œOne of these lives ima make things right with the wrongs I’ve doneā€

Kendrick never raps fast an entire album. He’s too versatile for that.
