I say something verifiable and incontroversial: these topics are socio-political in nature and are critic bait.

It’s what the man does. Some people love it, I personally dislike artists bringing up subjects in order to get attention this way. Ironically it’s not progressive but very manipulative.

Another ironic thing is his own fans were saying the same thing with Macklemore beat out GKMC. Now it’s all good because your fav does it.
