he’s completely mastered his sounds and flows from the past, as well as new ones. it all sounds so effortless now

he has more lines that “pop out” to the listener immediately compared to before, and this time it doesn’t come as sacrifice to the songwriting like it did on DAMN (imo)

and his voice is sharper than ever before, plus his breath control just gets better w/ every era

i feel like if current kendrick made something like DNA, ELEMENT, or GOD it would absolutely wash their 2017 versions
