It’s the vibes you’re giving. The r Kelly line is disgusting followed by the trans lines are disgusting, etc. searching for ā€˜cancellable’ moments is very twitter-esque of you.

They can come off as disgusting, but I’m not saying we should cancel him. I’m just criticizing the album’s flaws

If your brain was functioning you’d understand that there are things about this album that deserve to be criticized and could’ve been executed better, and saying that doesn’t mean someone didn’t ā€œget the pointā€. This is what Cole fans do and this is why people have hated his fanbase for years

You didn't get that point though. You completely missed the point of what he said in the bar you commented on. Which points to you missing all the other points in the album

Tells me to go get some fresh air while on KTT

If you think me criticizing an album equates to ā€œpeople liking the album bothers meā€, then that’s sad and y’all are doing exactly what Kendrick said to stop doing on this album

    Go get some fresh air!

I’m taking GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN all over this album

That doesn’t mean it’s not a great album though because it is

This album just weights more musically compared to, let's say, GKMC (which to this day is incredible). But you can you tell how much more Kendrick has evolved with this album, a much more insightful and mature Kenny.

Crown is slowly but surely becoming a top 3 song

    Incredible back to back again

    My top 5:
    Count Me Out
    Father Time
    Crown
    Die Hard
    Rich Spirit

The last 2 way too catchy, most played tracks probably

    bossyyyyy

Or or or u can have ur own opinion and stand on it and not disparage others for having theirs

The context of the usage of the word is clearly irrefutably from a perspective of regret for having not know better, it develops the whole anti-cancel culture theme of the album. It’s more about u needing to be quite stupid to not understand he wasn’t literally insulting his relative on the track. Also the 1st amendment thing was a joke which clearly flew over ur head in a similar way

My only issue with the usage is that it wasn't necessary to repeat it so many times

I did get the point. Nowhere did I misunderstand what he’s trying to say. It’s the execution of that idea that was flawed

I think he lost a lot of subtlety that existed in his songwriting on those three albums. I understand that might’ve been intentional with the therapy angle, but sometimes on this album it feels like the points being made are being beat over the head
