I hope he drops one in the future, but how can he possibly top all of this again?
Maybe not in the view of super stans but Kendrick could def top this by dropping a mixtape just flexing as a rapper, not taking himself too serious and not feeding a crowd who are more concerned by him talking about social issues (Which have been discussed over and over anyway)

Takotchiyeah this album does feel like closing the door to this huge journey kendrick has been on to now embrace fatherhood and enjoy his life
i wouldn't be mad if this was his last. it feels like there's closure

May 14, 2022Ā·editedĀ·1 replyI dont know how to explain it but the way kendrick is on this album is off compared to how he is on his other albums, not even necessarily lyrical content or technical ability.
He just had more presence on the other 3 album. Even in heart part 5, he sounds a lot more sharp than on here, aside from like father time and maybe savior

I didnt mean the same thing sound wise but just pushing hip hop as far as creativity goes
He can easily make an album full of s*** like the heart 5 and prayer, he definitely has a lot of songs like that that he left off because they aren't very personal or didn't fit but f*** it, he was definitely still playing the game with this album and trying to give interscope and tde an album with catchy s*** that can be easily marketed and performed at big venues - May 14, 2022bossyyyyy
