Thoughts on big steppers:
This sounds like nothing else out
Tbh, if I had to pick something this reminds me of the most sonically, it would be Vince staples all eras, more specifically big fish, fm, & Ramona park all combined
I said this right before we cry together came on wtf just happened to the sound
This like 2022 u, a masterpiece but when am I gonna play it outside the headphones every once in a while
I like the album and it has some great songs on it but I've come to realize that Kendrick aint for me tbh

If this is Kendrickās last album, was it a good way to end off his discography?
The conversational template is done way better on Guilty Conscience - it actually has replay value.
Iām done with the first disc and I like 2 songs. Kendrick really doesnāt give a f*** about sonically pleasant music š
Again. Not listening to no weird white version of a conversation to portray a toxic relationship between two black ppl.
The song isnāt meant for relay value. Itās meant to stop the repetition in real life
Guilty conscious is fan fiction. We cry together is a sad reality.
So far I think this album might be a classic but I also donāt love it myself if that makes sense
I feel like Iām experiencing art thatās not for me which is fine. I still think itās great so far

Thatās understandable bro. Everyone aināt for everyone. Salute.
damn kendrick really spoke to me on father time
having no parents there for me made me the person i am but i do lament on it sometimes
thank you kendrick

My favorite song on big steppers fr
Been seeing a lot of ppl compare this to a musical but to me itās like one of those rupi kaur poetry anecdote books where each song is just laying it all out idk
Idk why but ever since the āannouncementā I had a special feeling about this even though Iāve never listened to a Kendrick album on release night. But f*** man this just is hitting me in my soul, I donāt want to say āfall in loveā bc love isnāt a term I would use to describe my feelings for this, but itās like when youāre falling for someone and you keep thinking āis this real?ā That sounds hyperbolic af but I really havenāt felt such an instinctive way about an album before
