And Yes TPAB wasn't universally loved at first and it wasn't until maybe a year later that people thought it was better than GKMC from what I remember. I feel like it will be the case with this tbh
I don’t know it could go 2 ways from here on out. He’s either going to drop a more commercial album like DAMN in a couple years or he’s going away for a long long time.

I feel like this album is Kendrick almost ripping himself off because he can at this point, like Drake. Aunties Stories is like How Much A Dollar Cost, We Cry Together is based off U, someone was talking about something being like Element on steroids. & yeah what you just said.

yeah bro, it was the most awkward first listen I ever had with the homies. There are some dope rap songs on here like Father Time (instant classic) and Mr Morale but most of this s*** is headphone rap music and even there its kinda a slog

May 13, 2022Poopfeast420After many more listens, I’m convinced this album is a classic without We Cry Together and Auntie Diaries. It gets so much harder after listen 10. Those tracks cannot be saved though.
Auntie Diaries is needed, We Cry Together at least for me was a really tough listen but necessary in the grand theme of the album
