A meditation and refutation on bigotry and hatred that's rooted in trauma and the people around you. There is a lot of parallels to the subject matter in the album and this book. You have to take control of your trauma and loose your ego. I'm missing a lot here but I do agree with your statement.

Soo DiffKendrick might be better from a technical standpoint but that doesn't necessarily translate to better music and he's certainly not better in any ways that make me want to play Kendricks music more than Drake's.

MrIndigo96again only criticism I can give kendrick is he makes songs that are made for album listening experience.
aint no way a song like we cry together has high replay value.
only time I would want to listen to it is in the context of the album.Drake on the other hand has the advantage cause he approaches music the opposite way, he makes songs without thinking about it in context of an album or without having a storyline in mind which is why you can play his albums and music on shuffle
Drake benefits cause you can always play his music no matter the occasion
Both approaches have their merits, no better way to make songs imo
