Action Bronson killed that feat ngl
Ban him again
At the end of the album I realized @NobodyWins without putting the work in
Yāall believe kendrick when he said he caught a few bodies?
I dont believe half the s*** kendrick says, no way are all these stories in his raps real lmao.
All that s*** in gkmc and all the s*** on this album happened to the same person? No way.
Yāall believe kendrick when he said he caught a few bodies?
I been waiting for him to go more in depth with that
5 star reviews everywhere holy s***
this album is not that good?
Your opinion, but compared to ever other artist out there is still >>>>
But by Kendrick standards its understandable how it can be a shock.
But again heās always done things outside the box so I didnāt know whatās so shocking about kendrick new turn.
Coming back with mid really is
-BRAVE
its not mid imo, just inconsistent
but yeah, doing something as personal and weird is brave, because the chances of backlash are much greater
KSI the only one that can save this summer
Bro lost 3 million from a crypto crash in one day he gotta save himself
it's just how it is with some artists. Remember when Dawn FM got 100/100 ratings few hours after dropping too lol. The culture didn't f*** with it like that and the story will be repeated here

The culture
yeah, as someone who has a deadname, it feels gratifying to be called rome in real life because i really do feel validated in my own skin, whereas being deadnamed in places like my work where people don't really... get being trans can really be a detriment to my mental health n self esteem
Makes 100% sense and I'm sorry to hear that you gotta deal with being deadnamed frequently in a place that I'm assuming is a regular part of your daily life
Rome is a fire name too
Did you have to change your name legally after your transitioned? Asking because if you did, couldn't you press people on work for not calling you by your actual name because your deadname is no way your name any longer even legally?
This is a special album man. Honestly I wasnāt sure what to expect going into this musically, thematically, etc. I donāt even remember any of the leaks and didnāt recognize any while listening
But this production?? Jesus this is some of the most insane production Iāve ever heard from a major rapper since Yeezus this s*** is weeeiiirdddd. I especially love the combination of typical hip hop drums mixed in with the more heavier industrial style drums. Not to mention the synths on songs like N95 and Mirror, reminds me of Graduation a bit with the way theyāre used.
Lyrically I mean what is there to say? We all knew Kendrick was a master in his craft and heās just doing victory laps at this point. I know we hate Fantano but I remember he said something in his Heart 5 reaction where he said āno bar is wasted, every single word has a meaningā and thatās just simply the way to write a compelling message and Kendrick is just the best at that. This album is a masterclass in āshowing not tellingā, but when he is telling us something itās engaging and hard to shift my focus away from it (songs like Auntie Diary and the song about SA).
The only song I really donāt like atm is Die Hard and I just donāt like it lmao thatās really all I gotta say about it. But other than that even songs like We Cry Together Iām going back and replaying because theyāre scratching an emotional itch that I didnāt even know was there. Album is making me feel a lot deeper than I expected so itās a lot.
Overall I think this is a very special and will be sparking discussions for a long time about the meaning of it, his words, where we go from here as people, etc.
Dope.

this album is not that good?
how you feel is all that matters really
@op @Bow_And_Arrow what do you think of the album
It's a wild ride for sure. Only had one full listen but musically it's amazing. Lyrically the themes are very unique for a mainstream record and very personal. Some of the bars seem questionable and while his heart is in the right place, I still don't think dropping the f slur 10 times was needed.
It's so left field but still managed to be catchy. I've been saying "you outta pocket" to myself all day
Going to do my second listen here in a few. This album is by no means bad, but on first impression Iām barely putting it over DAMN which is my 2nd least favorite Kenny project.
This guy created the perfect critic bait
If you don't give it 5/5 you look like you don't understand it
If nothing else this album shows just how calculated and strategic Kendrick really is.
Critic bait, it really 2015 again
I been waiting for him to go more in depth with that
he would be snitching on himself if he did that
Letās be real here. How many times can one actually bump Auntie Diaries before it becomes unlistenable? It was 5 for me.
Ask me in a week damn
