OlafNo way he's that insensitive if that's a true story; if your cousin is a trans lesbian, you don't gloat about not calling her a f-word anymore while misgendering her and another trans relative in the track and title. This is a generous reading.
Hes not gloating lol hes talking about how he used to look at things until it affected him personally & reflected.
F***ed up or not its a common thing that happens to people. And yeah, it wasnt long ago when the f word was used so freely & most people didnt know a gay person nevermind trans and kendrick is in his 30s. S*** was damn near seen as mythical.

My fathers sister is a lesbian & they actually have talked about how bigoted they were until they found out, then it helped them get better. Its a real thing.
