UnoDeuceKendrick outwardly expressed his personal growths, downfalls, weaknesses, and the reasons why he’s struggling with those things. was insanely vulnerable, and now people are mad he wasn’t completely politically correct which is exactly what he was aiming for. he didn’t “perform” enough for some of y’all and you see that as a negative as opposed to him being open about his thoughts and struggles, especially as it relates to the trans community. and that’s exactly the point of this album.
you want to simultaneously see him as an idol with a huge platform to do good but only if he speaks like you want him to speak. you don’t care if he’s battling his personal demons, you want him to focus on YOU, and not himself, and that’s exactly why this album was made.
hope some of y’all realize that instead of being blindly upset that he didn’t say things how YOU wanted him to say them.
kendrick just had the courage to verbalize what he really believes down deep inside and what a lot of people believe but don't speak out loud. thats one of the bad sides of cancel culture it makes people internalize their beliefs and hide them, so while we may think the world is getting more tolerant its not it just looks more tolerant because people are hiding their true beliefs and how they really feel.
thats why a guy like trump can win.

Ghost OGi think i can safely say this is a great album, not everyone is gonna fw it, and that is ok too, and i think we can all agree this isnt what anyone expected or maybe even wanted. great music and beautiful instrumentals and writing but my lord s*** is deep
