Let me tell you 'bout the women I know (That's my baby)
I know karma like to follow us strong
I know millionaires that feel alone
Anytime I couldn't find God, I still could find myself through a song
Many find they life in a phone
Sure I heard a snippet from the intro a little while ago but my god, insane track.
Heavy Radiohead vibes
he did this on both damn and tpab to some extent
this was far and away the most vulnerable and open heās been tho imo
S/o we cry together
Raw emotion
Rarely do these type of songs work for me
But this one was incredible
I'm crying that people find Kendrick f***ing a white woman more surprising than the fact that he was unfaithful
yall think he wrote that TPAB poem after that night in Copenhagen?
i think i can safely say this is a great album, not everyone is gonna fw it, and that is ok too, and i think we can all agree this isnt what anyone expected or maybe even wanted. great music and beautiful instrumentals and writing but my lord s*** is deep

Thatās what Iām saying. Radiohead vibes all over this album.
People actually feel bad about f***ing white girls?
When your momma talking s*** about all the brothers with white women in the grocery and in their music videos
Yes
yall think he wrote that TPAB poem after that night in Copenhagen?
that was when he was screaming in that room saying I remember you was conflictedā¦.
yall think he wrote that TPAB poem after that night in Copenhagen?
f*** that s*** just hit me different now.
idk i think it was over a long time period especially after the events in u
Kendrick outwardly expressed his personal growths, downfalls, weaknesses, and the reasons why heās struggling with those things. was insanely vulnerable, and now people are mad he wasnāt completely politically correct which is exactly what he was aiming for. he didnāt āperformā enough for some of yāall and you see that as a negative as opposed to him being open about his thoughts and struggles, especially as it relates to the trans community. and thatās exactly the point of this album.
you want to simultaneously see him as an idol with a huge platform to do good but only if he speaks like you want him to speak. you donāt care if heās battling his personal demons, you want him to focus on YOU, and not himself, and thatās exactly why this album was made.
hope some of yāall realize that instead of being blindly upset that he didnāt say things how YOU wanted him to say them.
Swear to god youāre on fire tonight š
