they had like 500K copies on vinyl ready to go first week and they still sold well, but they sold like 319K for the last two months of 2021. Context: Olivia did 268K on vinyl for the year and they were only released a few months before. Still great for Adele, but nowhere near what they originally had inventory for.

here's my thing: if Kendrick is aware that stores already have copies ready to sell, he should just release the cover/tracklist now just to outdo the leakers
