Yeah I can actually very much get behind it if that’s the correct interpretation. Every person in that video has both inspired and entertained millions (“look what I’ve done for you”) and been either the architect of their own downfall or died too young despite having “completed their mission” of being an inspiration and an icon for their communities. There’s a nuanced point of view where we can both condemn the action and even change our mind about the person going forward, but still recognize their humanity and their contributions to the world. I honestly found that really refreshing when listening last night (and again I hope I’m not misinterpreting based on what I want to hear lmao)
