ye has changed rap and arguably all of popular music twice. kendrick is a great artist but you have to give credit where its due
What does that have to do with not giving credit? Like what are you even talking about
I think Stevie Wonder is probably the greatest living artist but I dont think he needs to exec produce Kendrickās album. Kendrick has been doing an excellent job of putting his albums together he doesnāt need Kanye to executive produce him, and that isnāt discrediting to Kanye to say whatsoever. Kanye gets all the credit possible on this site and people only go against him when people make post like that
Just seen a dude call the instrumental elevator music Iām going to bed man
Chalk it up 2 ignorance and let it go
still there for me
Spotify?

hustle like you're broke
Original Top Dawg Logo
Yea but that was a freestyle
Over a roots instrumental not even a real song.
it's been a while i forgot lol
For what? Like seriously not even saying anything to s*** on Ye itās almost dry is my current raoty
But what could Kanye at this point do to elevate Kendrick
like i said he doesn't need to.
but kendrick on an album full of ye soul samples would be fire af. the two greatest artists of my lifetime making an album together? why wouldn't that be fire? they'd have good synergy together.
plus kanye's tweeted about them having 40 tracks together so why not revisit that.
s*** would be fire that's all i'm sayin
yuh

Yea itās unavailable for me too.
Was that the kinda jazzy one?
Yeah with the piano, kinda remind me of 3k on solo reprise
What does that have to do with not giving credit? Like what are you even talking about

i agree on the exec album part. I just find it odd to talk about kendrick and ye's legacies in the same breath when kendrick exists purely as the result of very typical influences in rap while ye exerts influence himself
wasn't spinning what you said, I was adding to it. Like i could see somebody forgetting or not being interested after waiting cuz somebody else done dropped in their place
But itās not a short attention span. younger artists only have such a small amount of time to make an impression and people are too busy with their lives to keep tabs on them. Unless that single is the most fire s*** of all time. I would have been more prone to listen to that album that was being promoted if it was already out.
like i said he doesn't need to.

I honestly feel like Kanye having a couple beats on his album could be cool, but him locking in with Kanye for an entire album would lead to a less varied album than any of his other albums. Works perfectly for Push but Kendrick is way too varied of a rapper for just one producer, even Ye himself doesnāt just use one producer.
Sidenote its no way he had 40 finished songs w kendrick š but kendrick did try some stuff out to all day so who knows what they had in that vault
Kendrick first single in 4 years.
Full circle moment because me being a fan on the original KTT started my music business career. The theories, Stan wars, leak threads. It all started here

Bruh post where I said anything about a legacy
I said Kendrickās music is as good as Kanyeās it is. That doesnāt have anything to do w legacy
