Apr 21, 2020Had an American Pie marathon.
The first is f***ing great. It’s cheesy at points but it’s a really fun movie, iconic, 9/10.
The second is almost as good as the first, Stifler is at his peak here and totally steals the show. It goes a little extra with the melodrama and comes off cheesier, and the plot is a lot clunkier and loses a lot of the heart of the first one. Still a 7/10.
Wedding is probably my least favorite. Stifler becomes a caricature of himself, characters disappear from the series with no mention, and a lot of the situations feel way more forced. Still enjoyable and a fun watch, 6/10.
Reunion I would put on par with the second one. Stifler is back to form and carries the show, the ending is great and makes up for a lackluster middle. Dislike a lot of the new characters and hate what they did with Oz, but overall a good note to end the series on. 7/10Wouldn’t mind a 5th one
