i only got ab halfway through before i passed out lol. It was a great start tho. Interesting contrast of his life before the event being all spoiled whilst he simultaneously is having those conversations with the psychiatrist

Watched Parasite again. Still perfect.

Rewatched PERSONA w some friends last night and I think it possibly had a similar effect on them as it had on me.. they were so surprised at its being as ‘old’ as it is! For my part, I had actually forgotten how batshit this movie actually gets - and, possibly because I had undersold the film’s sensory assault beforehand, we all walked away a little more shaken than to be expected

It Comes at Night- I can definitely see the criticisms for this but I liked it overall, some nice camera work and atmospheric feeling, I felt a bit let down by the acting however. 7/10

Whiplash- Really well made, both leads are of course fantastic, I would have liked a bit more to indicate how tragic the ending was, light 8

The Autopsy of Jane Doe- Great 1st half, let down by mediocre 2nd half and an outright bad ending. High 6/10

Rewatched Whiplash my goodness I love this movie. Everything in it is perfect
