the problem with ratings. you rate things for 1-2 years and when you look them over you'll find that either you rated a bunch of films you think are really really good the same as the ones you find great. Or you end up with 5 10/10 films that when you really think about aren't much better than some f the 9s you've given out.

    Yeh I feel that too

I just end up reverting a rating if I feel a rewatch didn’t hold up. I hate the notion that we as human beings need to be binded to an opinion forever. There’s movies I loved and years later hated and Vice versa.

Ok so I gotta watch Intersteller again I spent whole 2+ hours mashing the volume button because the dialogue is soooo quiet and the action scenes are obnoxiously loud.

Insane. Shot after shot I was amazed. So rich and striking yet perfectly understated.
    The nighttime cityscapes were just

But I do agree with you on the story side of things. It did seem to lose me a time or two. Although I’m going to need plenty of rewatches so maybe I’ll learn to love it.

It was quite a fun movie at times as well.
