I’ve been watching nothing but dark films this whole week and I put on First Reformed thinking it was going to be uplifting and boy was I wrong.

Just watched The Dark Knight (not for the first time just again) and bruh that movie is so f***ing good 20/10

not one of my fav kore-eda's, but still a fantastic little movie. the man has some issues with father figures lmao. definitely becoming one of my favs the deeper i go into his filmography.

5/5. Incredible film. Easily in my top 10 of the 2000s.

Also I forgot all about the scene where Cage pulls the handcannon out on the old ladies in the retirement home, then tells them he f***ing hates them and should just kill them then and there.
