Hi everyone 😊 I’m not sure where to ask this. However does anyone know a good mob movie? It like a Italian mob movie? Or just a movie that deals with that sort of stuff

5 Centimeters Per Second (2007)

Great visuals (especially shots of the sky against outer space like above) but not nearly as emotionally resonant or easy to get invested into as Your Name

also the character designs looked occasionally wonky, even at certain emotional parts during close-ups

I do like the existential/depressive nature of the main character though

regarding the ending though I do like the song but christ is it abruptly placed

The Straight Story

I had no idea what to expect with a Disney Lynch film, but it hits surprisingly hard. Personally I loved that it maintains the craftsmanship and strangeness of a lynch movie w/o the challenge of following along. I can see it being boring to some, but I was fully in the whole time.

The concept reminds me of the opening scene of blue velvet where the garden hose mimics the old man’s body.

I cried, I recommend, 8/10

Just got back from We Need To Do Something. Opinions definitely gonna range but I personally loved it. I strongly suggest seeing this in a theater if you have a chance.
