Neon is my weakness, if someone throws neon in their films im bound to give it a positive score tbh

Saw mystic river last night. I mean it was thrilling but honestly the plot was kinda bad? And the ending was ass? Surprised by all the praise but I mean I guess a lot of other elements like the acting were pretty good. about a 3/5 for me

monsters vs aliens

i saw this in theaters as a kid in a summer program. i remember thinking it was hilarious. the character designs have not aged welll, the giant eyes look kinda creepy now. my main (joke) issue with the movie is how much of a p**** derek was. your wife turned into a giant with white hair & super strength. she can crush huge alien robots and has cool unique monster friends... and you give her up to move to fresno.

I like all of Malick's previous films even To The Wonder, but didn't feel this was directed well enough.

Dogshit. Turned it off after 15 minutes.

The entire time it was a f***ing voiceover play-by-play of the plot. Such lazy writing.
