I get you homie lol.

cool lil love letter to Manchester’s music scene in the 70-80s told thru the perspective of tony wilson. Starts at the beginning of uk punk and ends at the beginning of uk rave culture. Would prolly rate it higher if I actually f***ed w all the bands/music but I don’t really have much of a connection to any of it.
7.5/10
4.5/10. I loved Holy motors so I've always been interested in the directors other films. This was average. You could watch only the first 40 minutes and last 20 and wouldn't have missed anything

atmosphere of this was amazing, so many untouched subplots that are left as mysteries too

Yeah the atmosphere was really soothing. It didn't seem deep to me but i'd have to check an a***ysis on it knowing the director

random q but do you have a lb? you spitting on some of these takes Ive seen in this sxn would love to see your reviews

5/5, as legitimately perfect as a movie could possibly hope to be.
A rewatch, but goddamn Chaplin has made some of the most timeless movies in history, and is hands down the greatest comedy filmmaker to ever live.
Easily in my top 5 favorite directors.

Boy what the hell did I just watch lmao
That poster looks incredible

Is the criterion a big improvement over the original?
