    Been on a Talking Heads kick recently so i finally watched David Byrne's True Stories (1986)

    reminded me of a Lynch film, without any of the depressing/dark/horror elements

    Taste of Cherry is an easy 8.5/10 for me. Bit of a slow burn, but doesn’t matter too much because I spent each minute wondering if the protag would get his desired outcome.

    Also crazy that he was played by a 1st time actor, love stuff like that.

    Shoutout @sace

    it's really a slow burn! you're engaged in the mr. badii's character on his intent.

    Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016): 3/5

    Equal Rights >>> Same Love

  • Great film, 9/10 for me. The cinematography was ahead of its time. Larenz tate should get more leading roles. He’s still relatively young so he can do it.

    Beautiful Boy was okay

    5/10

    First time seeing Timothee Chalamet in a film. He was cool. Still don’t see what the hype is about him tbh

    Loved this movie. I read the book like years before the movie came out and I think it did a great job translating it into film + I was also a young d*** addict and it was a lot of s*** in the movie that I could either relate to or actually did irl

    @Soupvillain

    Have you declared war on all movies with titles starting with a "P" word and ending with "Woman"
