Virgin Suicides 9/10
Sofia Coppola birthed a lot of these niggas fr (greta gerwig cough), also we not gonna talk about her spike jonze dropped one of the best films of the 2010s by finessing one of her films and basically cranking up her style x3
Imagine having yr debut be this stylish and having yr directing touch so developed already
Felt like a film youd see from a lotta of current indie directors but it came out in 99 and the cinematography is so ๐ฅ

i know The Rental is gonna get hate for feeling 'pointless', but to me it just made it a better horror movie
Stalker is un-rateable cause idk wtf was happening, i just know i liked it
real for that Stalker response
So ahead of its time
one of the very few films (especially for the 40's) where almost every scene is jaw droppingly creative and unique

Just got around to seeing this, Iโm stunned at how they pulled this off in the 40s. Super imaginative, creative with beautiful colours & staging. Loved the story too.
Just felt the trial was a tad bit too long

The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970)
ehh i've felt indifferent towards almost every Argento film that i've seen, the music's good though, usually the highlight

They tried make plants grow with electrolytes
