For those of yall that watched, how yall ranking this with the others?
this the worst one to me but still good
I wanna see someone defend this as better than the trilogy
I'mma see it in a few days when it drops here in Australia
Looking forward to cooking up a wild review
You know
The art of the OG trilogy was to include a lot of heavy thought provoking stuff in a stealthy package of beautiful scenes and minimal dialogue
This new one sounds like it focuses more on explicit messaging to instill the same otherwordliness

It's focusing on inoculating a new generation of people primarily who need the message told that way
Whoever doesn’t like this film took the blue pill
“America can be saved only by what it's trying to destroy. ”
-same dude, Don DeLillo
Whoever doesn’t like this film took the blue pill
also:
“That night, after the movie, driving my father's car along the country roads, I began to wonder how real the landscape truly was, and how much of a dream is a dream.”
"How much of a dream is a dream" got me
I've slept on it and I'm ready to drop the No Cap review.
Solid 4 out of 10.
Feels like it's diet matrix designed for the current era of people with low attention spans.
There is noticeably less dialogue and philosophical ramblings which was the key selling points of the trilogy for me. It wasn't just about the cool action scenes but about thought provoking ideas that the audience could relate to real life.
The film felt less dangerous. Infact I don't think one person from the real world died in this film.... correct me if I'm wrong. The darkness and mysteriousness of the trilogy is all but lost. Maybe due to the friendly robots which by the way, was hella corny. Especially that blue robot that looked like something out of a Disney film. I was stressed at this point.
Action scenes didn't hit hard due to this feeling of safety. The fact they made morpheus a programme that could be put in the real world with 1000s of metal balls was an L. No real risk of him going to the machine world but plenty of reward.
The storyline gets a pass but the execution was poor. I was panicking when they broke the 4th wall and spoke about Warner Bros and all that matrix 4 s\*\*\*. I thought it was gonna be terrible at that point but they managed to claw it back to a 4 in the end.

Probably the best review I read so far
You actually have arguments for the things you dont like
Thats real
I think corporations underrate kids taste sometimes. I was a kid when Matrix came out and I loved its nuance and darker theme.
Yeah
I wanna see someone defend this as better than the trilogy
Twitter already on it
S***s trash
I already let you guys know that Spider-Man was gonna blow the roof off this garbage
Lot of y’all hoped on hope tho.
