No idea what you like or what your expectations are bruh. Some movies you will like some you wont. Doesnt mean they are lazy cashgrabs neccesarily. There's a thread on here I think that talks about the best movies of the year. Maybe you can find something to enjoy there. There were good movies that came out this year. Yeah I agree about the Marvel movies to an extent even though some are really good.
As far as risk taking, this Matrix film without spoiling anything, it took HUGE risks lmao by going in the opposite direction of what most fans probably thought, which is why it's been dividing fans and others who have seen it. I'm done though just wanted to speak on that
