Like I dont even understand who they would rather have direct or write for the Matrix. In terms of Cinematography Bill Pope I 100% get it yes,but write or direct for live action matrix only worthwhile with lana involved. As for animatrix thats more where to explore. Even Matrix 4 again has book writers attached. The question may come down to did they improvise too much or have to make too many changes due to budget, scheduling conflicts, studio oversight, pandemic, rolling it out sooner or filming on komodo

but some of us are just in . Its a matinee movie ticket I aint paying 50$ its no level of commitment or selling my soul to see the movie. If we hate it we going to be honest but I dont really hate anything if the artist got to see their vision through. May just not be for me or I may have issues with writing but no reason to emit hate to this degree that it shouldnt exist

To Me as long as Lana was still writing it the vision is secure even if there were a different director. If writers changed it would need to be a total reboot or remake situation

Matrix been gone for so long and Keanu just recently became a big star again so if it's any good I could see it having some mad max fury road style success. We ll see what word of mouth is soon
