yes you are right but those same people hated the sequels when the sequels at some points in my opinion forced action that aint need to happen that took priority over some basic writing plotholes

at first I said light then I watched it and its got some stuff where you would likely prefer as a surprise so cant recommend watching

It is more than action but it's a massive part of the appeal, there's no hiding from that. In fact most ppl only really care about the action and not the scifi/philosophy/love story stuff

but lana nor lilly have ever indicated from their work or their interviews that they want to serve them or be beholden to them. From the sequels, to sense8 to cloud atlas to the comedy lilly working on now no part of it is "we want as many people to f*** with this as possible"

That's fine and if that's the case then there was no need to force it by having these sub par action scenes.

Again from the moment I saw the force push energy push thing I was like "WTF going on" because its less kinetic than hand to hand combat, we not seeing him bleed or break bones and its not like The Raid gareth edwards action where I wince but more like a play or non contact. But again I am not there for the action. I am there to see if they do something new cool effects wise or innovation worthy. They have pitched it as a love story the entire time.

no I said it was odd they didnt have middle easterners, said the acting wasnt connecting for me and trailers didnt look overly great for me. I always said review wise should do reasonable and rooting for it because it looked better than star wars in ways. I was joking in dune thread about sleeping not nitpicking to this degree. I can watch Dune online if I want when I eventually did watch some of it even my valid concerns were "well youre wrong". Nah its just my opinion and its never hate. I am glad Denis eats succesful and y'all getting a sequel.

In the dune thread I made clear I am glad y'all enjoy it but the first hour of dune dry as s*** for me and I am not personally hooked on it. before the movie was out I was skeptical but never said "it looks like s*** its a cash grab anyone who likes this biased why are you hyped"

They made many changes from the dune book I didnt say "HOW CAN THEY CHANGE THAT THATS THE POINT WAH WAH WAH"
