Not saying they're banking on it thats just how it is given those circumstances. But with matrix nostalgia is rooted in the plot

But also that stuff about Batman sounds nice. I just know a lot of old casual Batman fans from Nolan are gonna come in like "no one can do it better than Bale" people want familiar. So far Reeves doesn't look too much of a drastic change from Nolan so there's not a big outcry.
Imagine if Batman and Robin did crazy money and then TDK dropped right after. People would've rejected then be like "you know what it's not that bad
