Even though I am completely making this up and not basing this on spoilers they would all have a legitimate reason to fight each other. Varying degrees of power and belief in theirself/ reluctance to fight their old self. It would actually make for a pretty good fight. I remember some time ago people thought that Neo would be the new Agent Smith in this. In some ways that would be a fun idea. S*** with him seeing Smith in the mirror if they had actually gotten Hugo Weaving and Hugo was inside Kenau and went from humanity is a cancer no way love is the solution to "I love trinity and love is real" by end of movie that would lowkey kind of go. Proving that their love truly defeats all

We will see though. I am more so even more than this movie thinking about what Matrix 5 entails(cause we know its coming with multiyear plan). Cause does Morpheus work as Yahya going forward, does Smith work without Weaving? Do we really even need to see either of their characters come back with so much new cast? What story should the new cast tell if the One Trinity love has already been determined? Like what other stories and themes to touch on besides love and humanity. Which is where it gets into Animatrix like stories. Would love to see a variety of animatrix like stories in live action since we have seen Lana tackle the power of love, universe and time in Matrix, Cloud Atlas and Sense8. So becomes what else will she touch on
