You gotta admit seeing more of Smiths take over of the Matrix considering what a large plot point it was would have slapped way harder for example. Or the crew having to come up with a plan to get neo from merovingian that was actually clever and not just trinity shoving a gun in his face

Just saying there was plenty that could have and should have been executed better beyond and in the place of some of the mech stuff

Nah he write but time constraints and a lot of focus on reality even though ( reality story and the body swap neo storyline wasn’t exactly a slapper although I see the purpose)

Oh not saying any of this wrong especially smith part or more of villain perspective. Matrix 1 smith dialogues snapped . We see him progress less or just be in disbelief about love. Even after he absorbs neo could have expanded on what he saw leading to his explosion.

They’ve said there are light deleted scenes or dialogue . Hearing artwork of the Matrix and comic fill in a lot of gaps ( some scenes never shot ) . I need to get both and read them in lead up

Ok so to add to the Smith thing we never really saw the humans or bluepills point of view. So watching smith take over on a bigger scale would have been cool.

On the other hand I enjoyed how we only saw it while we were in the matrix. You go in and there's more smiths then you leave and come back and there are exponentially more smiths. You go and you come back and now you smith too nigga lol.

Idk what trinity shooting the Merovingian would actually do. What is interesting is that the Mobil Station exists outside of the matrix and isn't designed by the architect so even if the smiths got there, they probably would be powerless like Neo.

Now if morpheus and them were like "we got to write a python script bullet and threaten to shoot Merovingian with it if he doesn't give us Neo" or some s*** like that then idk

They could prolly download Mobil on a USB then bring it back and plug neo in
idk man. But I'm not mad at his stance
