I think most people want to reject any new matrix thing because the first matrix blew their minds and believe that they are now know-it-alls and nothing else can wow them (even with some of them not even appreciating the sequels)

Yet people like “ where Morpheus “ when he was literally just a magical negro character whose purpose was getting the main character to believe in himself and the prophecy . There were / are infinite neos . There are not infinite instances of every other character.
