Nah BR2049 actually had a clearer plot than Blade Runner did. Harrison Ford even said about his role in the OG movie that he was a detective that didn't really do s*** lol
Blade Runner's aesthetic and subtext is fire but plot wise BR 2049 had more to offer with:
K's personal choices regarding free will,
him wanting to be a real human,
Just the fact that his whole life is essentially artificial down to his Virtual Reality Wife
his dichotomy with Luv who followed Niander's orders to her detriment as opposed to K breaking free from his superior's control
The fact that we still dont know whether Deckard is a replicant or not

I just don't see how Henwick being in a Marvel production is a slight against her.
Marvel don't cast bad actors their problem is they get directors with little to no experience who they can bully into making THEIR type of films lol
