Ever since the first John Wick movie there's been this speculation going around on the internet that the main protagonist Wick is actually related to Neo from the Matrix movies... i've seen whole forums try to pick this theory apart it's pretty cool if you wanna look into it

I'm like 90% sure it's meant to be set in some generic Americanesque city, at no point do they ever once mention New York though that's for sure
