do you think that's more a result of laziness/stagnation? or just that she's leading a more authentic career now that she's established and can really focus on what she wants to do? you said it yourself how her writing has consistently progressed. she's doing poetry, writing novels. i think she sacrificed the glitz and glam to really dig deep into her artistry and she's probably better (artistcally and mentally) for it. at least's that how i see it.

Honeymoon was okay
I dunno bout the aesthetic....some claim it was just marketing while hardcore fans like myself thought it was just lana being lana
She grew a lot since then so I dunno what the case really is but she doesnt need an aesthetic or at least it doesnt have as much impact as it did back then
back then aesthetic was everything, especially during the tumblr era that she dominated. she's getting older, fatter and isn't as hung up on glamour and glitz anymore. you usually see that with aging artists.
