The second half of A&W was the first time I've been excited about Lana's music since NFR and she followed it up with a nearly 5 minute long interlude that annihilated the momentum

This is her best body of work in a while but it needed some editing and re-sequencing

yeah, i loved chemtrails for the most part, it was a nice balance of ballads with some synth interplay, it felt like the instrumentals developed and swelled with her lyrics etc. it was just overall dynamic and fairly interesting

blue banisters kinda threw all that s*** out the window !

instrumentals developed and swelled with her lyrics

The outro is such a vibe

Real ones know Blue Banisters is better than Chemtrails

  • this album has some cool stuff here and there, but ultimately similarly to blue banisters it’s just too subdued and tame for my liking

im not asking for her to return back to her pop roots, im asking for interesting production at the bare minimum, she needs to ditch the piano dawg

beautiful, introspective lyrics as per usual, it might even feature some of her best writing to date in all honesty—but jesus this project is a bit of a slog to get through

after listening a couple of times, i think this is pretty much what to expect from Lana over the past few years. she's got her lane and she thrives in it. i love her voice so she'll always get a listen from me.

my fave track has to be taco truck x VB. mostly because of the Venice B**** mashup with the outro. i think Venice B**** is her best ever song, the length of it doesn't bother me one bit. so, so good and i hope i get the chance to see her perform it live.
