im glad im not the only person who feels that way. my uncle is a massive queen fan and he put me on to some of their albums and i was like ehhh. their singles are good though, but im not too hot on their 80s s***
a band where every member was equally talented at writing and producing but all 4 had such different styles and influences it made their albums sound like complete compilations with no direction apart from their first 2 albums
I'll mention it again to @Mmm_Hmm to see if that can happen next year. It would be great to share and discover obscure gems with y'all.
Sounds like a plan once we get alot of the big VZ out
Queen my mom favorite band
Dad is Pink Floyd
Definitely ended up closer to my dads taste then Moms.
Pink Floyd
I’ll give them a shot on my walk tomorrow morning
I’ve heard all of their albums before by the way.. just trying to have them resonate with me..
you got apple music bro? there's a couple playlists out there that have their early s*** on mono
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road
and Let It Be
All back to back to back.. I dunno what it is but it’s just not for me, I tried so hard to love them
Damn Abbey Road did nothing for you ???
Tbh Let It Be wasnt a particularly ideal choice if you wanna see the true potential of the Beatles.
If you ever wanna give them another chance check out Revolver then White Album. Rubber Soul is a great one too
they're a singles band, as far as i'm concerned. i tried listening a day at the races and a night at the opera and learned that the hard way.
early stuff is good if you like hard rock or glam. still not amazing or in the top tier of that style imo but they were original
all those late 70s/80s hits i could really do without though. usually not terrible but id never be convinced that something like Radio Ga Ga is the work of an all time great
@Devoted
Bro if @saveme had kept going. He would've still had:
Like I Love You
Senorita
Last Night
Nothin Else
Damn Girl
Losing My Way
Don't Hold The Wall
Tunnel Vision
Strawberry Bubblegum
That Girl
Chill out fam
stop it bro, JT was the underdog in this fight

If it’s not for you, it’s not for you man. It’s ok. Atleast you listened and figured that out for yourself. Alot of people on here just write them off because they 12 years old and think music from 2009 is old.
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road

let it be is one of the worst albums and yellow submarine barely even counts

see how you feel about the Revolver remix once it comes out next month
The superior artist won.
stop it bro, JT was the underdog in this fight
JT was a underdog, but he still had hella crazy songs that he can choose from.
Ay at least you like Floyd
Tripped so many times to their music
Maybe I need some acid for The Beatles again

mmmm....maybe download The Beatles in Mono boxset when you get a chance. it's night and day when you compare it to the stereo mixes, especially on Revolver, Rubber Soul, and Sgt. Pepper
Pink Floyd
Pink Floyd an interesting group cuz they had 3 very distinctive eras.
Like most groups will progress but Pink Floyd progressed super quickly as 3 separate times over the years.
