Deja Vu off his new album super felt like a beatles song though

they still kept a good amount of the hard panning just made it actually listenable in headphones

it's like a buffet of all types of sounds, it's ridiculously well-written and features a lot of what i personally think are some of their best written tracks (Dear Prudence, Happiness is A Warm Gun, Julia, Glass Onion) lots of catchy riffs and ridiculously psychedelic (particularly Prudence and Happiness Is A Warm Gun) and there's just a lot of ear worms and catchy rhythms on it that ill never get over

it also has one of their most aggressive (if not the most aggressive) songs in their entire discography (Helter Skelter) which is one of my favorite songs of theirs ever

dont get me wrong, i do think it's a little overly long and does have some low lows like you mentioned Ob-La-Di is absolutely embarrassing and unredeemable, and it does start falling apart a bit on the second half of the album with novelty type songs like Revolution 9, but overall, there's just a lot of different sounds and s*** on it that i just never get bored of, its inconsistency is kind of what draws me in if that makes sense

But it was better

Cee Lo Green got more slappers than The Beatles if we being totally honest
