man i think it’s safe 2 say almost every1 here grew up on cudi

cudi is a once in a generation artist, we all have so many memories with his music.. regardless of how he’s perceived these days that will never change how we all feel about his music

I couldn't agree more. That's why I said that Cudi would obliterate Lupe in a VZ. I think nostalgia and our attachment to those early songs will carry him the entire way.

We can look at MOTM 1 & 2 with rose tinted glasses and yes, they’re classics but F&L 1 & The Cool are just as strong.

Regardless of subjective opinion I still think Lupe would win.

Cudi is enemy #1 on KTT2. Yeah some people dislike Drake and Kendrick, but some people LOATHE Cudi. You can feel it in their posts. And that would definitely influence a VZ.

Lupe getting more love from KTT since they grew up on F&L/Cool than an older act like Common shouldn’t have been a shocker. But The Light losing to The Coolest still was some baby back bullshit

In retrospect we can recognize that but before the match the majority placed their chips with Common.

Lupe stans came through and did their thing. Whoever railed them did a good job because Common probably would’ve dogwalked Lupe if it wasn’t for the extra 5-10 who voted in silence for Lupe.
