What the f*** kinda question is this. Of course I was listening to rap. I was f***ing 13. I know what rap sounded like at the time. And Ye borrowed a lot from U2 type stadium sounding music and pop/techno like Daft Punk on Stronger. Graduation was way more influenced by non rap genres which is why is stood out but still those sounds are dated as well.

It was a great comeback song but the song itself isn't all that
