i like modest mouse but they dont belong in the same sentence as Perfect From Now On for me
Is Slint really that good I’ve never listened
super depressing Post Hardcore minus a lot of the Hard and weird minimal song structures. Most important album of the 90s I'd say tbh. Talk Talk's branch of Post Rock had next to zero influence as opposed to Slint's imo. Not sure if you'd like them. Do you like Black Country, New Road?
never even heard an album from built to spill tbh and i consider myself a pretty big indie nerd
Perfect From Now On is the greatest album of all time
f*** in the aeroplane is so overrated
Absolutely not. Quiet. Most of the albums people say are overrated simply aren’t, you’re just tired of hearing about them.

Vocals more emo than indie

gigantic L
one of the essential bands
i'll listen to built to spill and you listen to portishead to gain our cred back
I've never been impressed by those 2 bands tbh
black country was kinda lame imo (the vocalist mainly) but showed some potential
Squid album was cool but definitely not something id say "impressed" me

This is it! This is the greatest thing I've seen all year. Hallelujah! <3

Yeah I like them I’ll already put on Spiderland now
