suzukiim nearly done with this book "bass culture" about jamaican music from the 50s-80s its got a great section on black ark. the craziest part of the book so far was learning about how king tubby was a legit engineer when it came to modifying and inventing equipment/circuitry, literal studio wizard
I'll have to check that out

i dont even remember saying that but trust me, the ballad of curtis loew song wont give you what youre looking for
its more of a "ballad of xyz" type title from traditional songs and nothing like the emotional passionate aspect of Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man, and Free Bird first part or pretty melody
you said you love the album though so apparently you like every other song on debut which there is plenty more of
