I dont think so, or it probably would already be in the song, and scarves said it's a verse
Imma trust Scarves
was just trying not to overhype this for myself.
So fkn curious about those verses... Great era for Ye and I feel like Jay probably pushed him to really rap rap on this just like Hov did on Shiny Suit. But also maybe they didn't quite fit... Rly hope the near future will give us answers
Also won't stop being worried about the possibility of Ye barring them from release or wanting them censored, specifically Rough Love he was prolly on his h**** s***
Dj Khalil really had to deal with one of his hardest beats ever just sitting in a vault for 10 years...
which 1 is that?

“I’m very influenced by movies,” Jay says, explaining his motivation for the project. “There’s a scene in Eternal Sunshine when Jim Carrey’s character has just met Clementine, and she’s invited him up for drinks. It was the first time you saw him excited, and you could tell it was going to be a pivotal point in his life. But the music you heard—do-do-do-do-do-do-do—didn’t make you feel so good. It created such a good contrast. I just wanted to do something that felt like that.”

Always wanted to hear some thoughts by Jay on the actual film

Scarves a legend. He on here ?
You can make your own playlist and do that though?? Or am I misunderstanding you
yea but he remastered act II and did a great job, just wondering if he threw together anything else.
something so f***in calm bout hearing the ronald reagan sample
it just reminds me of all the goat intro tracks when u listen to them you know theres a chance you're about to hear a classic album
its a really laid back track, i just wish i was a fan of new illuminati and patents of nobility a little more. prob 2 of my least favorite on the album thus far.

Yeah, a Ye verse would really bump it up
PoN would have been cool as an intro beat switch but I still like it
It’s the same length in the tracklist picture. Not sure what the plan was for that track
@Oblivion99 possibly interesting reference?

This act 1 right ?
u did the remaster rite? where did that version of life on mars come from
Letter To Falon would’ve been a perfect single. I could hear that s*** on huge movie soundtracks.

yeah I'm ngl New Illuminati is one of my least favs too, but it was also possibly the worst mixed song of them all too so I dunno. It seems to be the last leftover from the African drum style tracks like og Patents of Nobility and Act II demo so it does kinda feel out of place now. Wonder if there's a newer version.

don't mind new Patents of Nobility even though it's another weirdly direct lift (just like B&C)

it was a single in 2017 but no one cared for it

Yea,I know it came out earlier but it’s not a single,it just leaked. If it was pushed as a single,it could’ve worked to lead the album.

Well, that’s where they f***ed up,making it Tidal exclusive but I’m really talking about if they dropped it in 2012.

it was easily his worst received song so far tbh, a lot of people (me included) didn't f*** with the production or hook that much at first. Jay (Z) probably tried to push it to see if he can get some hype going for Act II again but it kinda backfired and ppl started to be less interested in the album rather than more

I think people expected Jay Elect to be on some some boom bap super duper rap s*** and that song took em off guard. What did you expect Act II to sound like.
