Sometimes choosing the right sample can be just as significant as where and how it’s chopped. Bonnie & Clyde is a perfect example of this. It’s as simple as a loop can get but it fits so well within the tapestry of the album that there really is no need to do much else to it. Elitist may frown upon the lack of technical skill it took to create it but there’s art in choosing the right scene to tell your story
