Oct 7, 2020·edited@twitch haven't heard that 21 Savage album yet but Wu's shtick even when 36 Chambers initially came out was taking it back to the old days. RZA's prod is so atmospheric and raw, a lot of ppl have tried to replicate it throughout the years but no one can do it like him. I never tried to hear the crispiest sounding music anyway, which seems boring. Wu's charm came from how they sounded dirty, rugged and rough around the edges. That's a part of the 90's aesthetic in general, a lot of rock albums from that era fit that description too.
Btw I was born in the 90's and still listen to a lot of music from the 70's and 80's. Kids who can't go back and enjoy classics aren't music fans to me, just hypebeasts who try to hear some background tunes that'll get them "pumped up in the gym".

I have oblivions remaster which is goat 15 track remaster
And i also have the orginal raw leak but transitions fixed as one song like act 1 and ive added it too “the science of everything in life” after act 1

Serge Gainsbourg is one of the best french singer/songwriter ever. A real controversial songwriter. Really scandalous. He burned real money on tv shows,he said on live tv to whitney houston :"i want to f*** you", he wrote a song called Lemon incest and him and his young daughter were singing it. Weird af.
But my favorite song of his remains Initial B.B a song he made about Brigitte Bardot

Just Blaze did additional prod on some of the tracks and I think DJ Khalid helped produce either patents or perdition
